Canadian Community Center

CCC’s mission is to improve the health and vitality of our community. Open six days a week, this facility offers exercise rooms, indoor basketball and racket ball courts, numerous fitness classes. Little Learners, a pre-school program for 4 and 5 year olds, is offered on the same schedule as Canadian ISD. CCC offers a Child Watch program for children, ages 6 months to 6 years, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. Seasonal sports for children include T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Softball, baseball, soccer, and basketball.

Hemphill County Library

Hemphill County Library, is open six days a week with an extensive book and audio collection for all ages as well as public computer stations. The Summer Reading Program and the afterschool program for Kindergarten to second graders draw many participants. Story time is held once a week throughout the year, and guest speakers offer performances in the summer.
